Late 1980s/90s handmade folk art ornament set designed by Denise Calla for House of Hatten. These are quite oversized. The material is something between a paper maché and resin and the hand painted details are so charming. Collectible and often very hard to find. Many have charms, bells or magic attached.
This collection is from her ‘Nutcracker’ series of the 1990s. Dated and signed. Sold individually
