Rare desk designed by Danish icon Børge Mogensen. Produced by Søborg Møbler in Denmark c1953. Teak surface and dovetailed drawers atop a plated steel base. Steel pulls. Originally this piece had a drop leaf piece that was supported by the Y brace shown, however with the already ample size of the desk, it is hardly necessary. A chance to own hard to find mid century Danish design.

This desk is in wonderful condition. The top has been refinished while the drawers and base retain the original finish. Some wear to the plating of the steel. Drawers slide easily.
